To mark the 200th anniversary of the Peterloo Massacre, Manchester Histories and Streetwise Opera joined forces with creatives from across the city to make original protest music for the 21st century.
Protest Music brought together Streetwise Opera and composer Charlotte Marlow, songwriters from the RNCM Popular Music course, the Ignition Orchestra, Katie Chatburn, Mandy Wigby and local MCs – Che3kz and MC Fox of LEVELZ to create brand new, original protest music.
